This path is ideal for people interested in getting the full experience that this unforgettable hiking option offers. We begin in Cusco and got through the camps of Huayllabamba, Pacaymayu and Wiñayhuayna before reaching Machu Picchu and “The Sun Gate”.
Cusco
The tour starts very early, 06:00 – 07:00 in the morning. We will pick up the travelers in their corresponding hotels to transfer us by bus until the km 82 of the path.
Once there, all the expedition team, guides, porters, cooks will gather, before starting the trekking.
The first few kilometers are quite simple. Travelers will be able to observe beautiful landscapes like the snowy glacier of the Veronica (Waqaywillka). We will walk along the Vilcanota River until reach the archaeological complex of Patallacta.
Stop to rest and have lunch before continuing to Huayllabamba where we will establish the first camp.
After breakfast, climb to the most difficult part of the road, the Warmiwañusca located at 4200 meters above sea level. From this area the adventurers can enjoy incredible panoramic views of the mountainous surroundings.

The tour will start early in the morning. After a 30-minute walk, travelers will reach the archeological complex of Runkurakay, from this point you can see perfectly that the Inca trail is completely covered with stones and in some part of the path have more than to 2 meters wide.
Later we will visit the beautiful archaeological complex of Sayacmarca. We will make a stop to rest and have lunch.
Then the road continues through an Inca tunnel to reach the archaeological site of Phuyupatamarca.
We will continue the route along a path, surrounded by a fauna and flora of the jungle. Two hours later, we will arrive at Wiñayhuayna where we will establish the third night camp.
The tour begins very early, at 6:00 in the morning and after having breakfast, we will start walking to Intipunku (Puerta del Sol), from where we can see the sacred city of Machu Picchu.
We will take a guided visit to the citadel of 2 hours, visiting the main points, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries.
We will enjoy free time to stroll through Machu Picchu before descending to the village of Aguas Calientes, where we will stop for lunch at one of the local restaurants.
In the afternoon we will travel by train and bus to the city of Cusco where we will end our trip in Central Plaza
