As it is a region very close to the equator, the temperature is mild and moderate all year round. The rainy season takes place in the months of november to may and in the region of Iquitos the month where more precipitations are registered is during april.

The dry season does not mean that there will be no rainfall, but that it will rain less intensely and for fewer days.
Being a jungle climate, it can rain on any day of the year. Rainfall is usually concentrated in the evening.

This is one of the most important areas of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Trekking through the Fundo jungle will take the expedition deep into the Amazon rainforest. The naturalist guide will explain any type of detail about the flora and fauna of the place, such as the Renaco; the tree that symbolizes the spirit of the man of the forest in the Amazon.
AN – An incredible adventure trip to visit a private reserve with 8 suspension bridges. To reach that point, you will have to walk a path through the forest, and paddle in the tranquility of Lake Tahuampa, a lake of dark waters in which the Araipama live, a species of giant fish better known as Paiches by the natives. From the suspension bridges you will have a privileged position to observe the wildlife that lives in the treetops and delight in the symphony of sounds that surrounds the place.
The travelers will arrive on board of motor boats until the Community of San Francisco, a place inhabited by one of the most ancestral communities of the Amazon. They will visit the town to get to know the way of life of the locals, visiting the school and the handicraft market.
Later they will return to the ship to continue the crossing by the river towards the last destination, the Yacapana Island, the place where the Ucayali and Marañón rivers converge to give birth to the Amazon River.
