Later we will move to the Larco Museum, an 18th century mansion built on a 6th century pre-Columbian pyramid where we will find an impressive collection of archaeological pieces and treasures that have been exhibited in the most prestigious museums of the world. Among all them stand out the warehouse and the unique exhibition of erotic ceramics of the pre-Columbian era.

Day 3Chiclayo

We will begin the tour with a visit to Huaca Rajada, an archaeological site where the treasures of the Lord of Sipán were discovered.

Continue to the Valley of the Pyramids in Tucume, an impressive urban center, the most important of its time, located only 33 km. of Chiclayo. According to the legend of God Naylamp and Queen Cetemi, they came from the sea to build the city around the hill of La Raya, an outstanding rocky elevation of the area.

We will have lunch in a restaurant in the area where we will taste some of the most wonderful and traditional dishes of the local gastronomy, a festival of flavors for our palates.

The day ends visiting the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipán, inaugurated in 2002 and which is known as the “Museum of the 21st Century”.

Its architectural design simulates the original tomb and inside it houses a collection of treasures in gold, silver and precious stones of exceptional beauty.

It is probably a visit that you will never forget.
